Diving into the legal realm as an undergrad can seem daunting. That’s why KAPi works to secure panels and guest speaker events for members to gain some exposure to the industry and get a sense of what it is they’re signing up for.

The law can take you into pretty much any field. We have had corporate lawyers and in-house lawyers spanning industries from criminal to environmental law, sharing their insights into what life as a lawyer really looks like. At each speaker event, we encourage members to come prepared with questions so they get the most out of learning and networking opportunities.

Besides professionals, we have also hosted a number of law students who have shared their experiences as law students as well as what they learned from the application process. Everyone has a different approach and a different background from which they found the law. As such, it’s always helpful to learn from a variety of students to better understand the breadth of the avenues that lead to law school.
